13th Street south intersection close

The installation and welding of south-side streetcar track rails from 13th Street to the project end point in the 1400 block is on schedule to start Monday, June 13. The work will start at the 13th Street intersection and proceed eastward.
For that reason, the south side of the 13th Street intersection with H Street will be closed to through traffic from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm on Monday through Wednesday, June 13-15, and possibly also on Thursday, June 16. After 5:00 pm, the intersection work zone will be covered with steel plates and opened to through traffic during the evenings.
During the daytime work hours, southbound 13th Street motorists will be directed to turn right or left onto H Street. Northbound 13th Street motorists will be detoured at G Street, to turn left (west) on G Street to reach 12th Street and proceed north on 12th Street.
Signage will be in place, and flaggers will be on hand, to assist motorists and pedestrians.
As always, thanks to all for your patience and cooperation. Please call on us whenever you would like additional information or assistance. My contact information is listed at the end of this message.
